Nellie (Rosales) Galvan
Nellie (Rosales) Galvan, age 74, a resident of Yukon, passed away January 15, 2003 at an Oklahoma City Hospital. She was born September 28, 1928 in Palava, Texas to Ben and Savina Rosales. She was raised in Anadarko, Oklahoma with four brothers and three sisters. She had eleven children, twenty-two grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a host of loving nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 18, 2003 in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, Oklahoma.

Charlotte (Chito) Yvonne Jones, 63, of Oklahoma City, passed away on Thursday, June 9th, 2016 in Oklahoma City, OK surrounded by family members. She was born on January 18th, 1953 in Anadarko, OK to Welman and Naomi (Bointy) Wolf. She attended Anadarko High School. She married Robert Jones on October 16, 1971 in Anadarko, OK. From this union was born four children: Robert Jr., Kris, Brian and Mandy. Charlotte was a homemaker and worked at a dry cleaners. She was a dedicated military wife, supporting her husband, Master Sergeant Jones, in the U.S. Air Force for 24 years. She was an outstanding cook and baker and loved watching cooking shows on tv, and watching her grandchildren participate in sporting events. Charlotte was an avid Oklahoma City Thunder fan and also the Oklahoma State Cowboys. GO POKES!! She was a very proud member of the Kiowa Tribe.

 

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Robert Jones, Sr., of the home in Oklahoma City, OK; 3 sons: Robert Jones, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK, Kris Jones of Moore, OK and Brian Jones and wife, Brittanie, Del City, OK;

1 daughter, Mandy Rene Jones and friend, Caleb Moore, Oklahoma City, OK

13 grandchildren: Marcos Blount, Devon Jones, Bryce Jones, Brianna Jones, Byron Jones, Braden Jones, Brodrick Jones, Antonio Morales, Julian Morales, O'Felia Morales, Ethan Jones, Dealva Jones and Nathaniel Moore.

2 brothers: Welman Wolf, Jr. of Chickasha, OK and Chebon Wolf of Norman, OK; 3 sisters: Brenda Wolf of Chickasha, OK and Kristi Wolf Shores- Norris and husband, Wes of Tulsa, OK, Debra Wolf-Wisdom of Ada, OK; Brothers-in-law, Eugene Jones and wife, Kaye of Anadarko, John Jones and wife, Helen of Tulsa, Ray Jones and Ellis (Alley) Jones, Jimmy Jones and wife, Janice all of Anadarko, sisters-in-law: Margaret (Suki) Dorrough, Cheryl Koch and Gayla Jones all of Anadarko and Wanda Moore and husband, Carl of Anadarko. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her father; Welman Wolf, Sr., Mother; Naomi Bointy Wolf, father-in-law, Bennie Jones Sr.; mother-in-law, Margaret (Maggie) Jones-Sandoval; brothers-in-law, Lee Jones, Jackie Jones and Bennie Jones Jr. and one grandson, Emilio Ray Jones.

Obituary:
Elvira "Vera" Gomez Fuentes, 84, longtime resident and homemaker of San Angelo, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully on Monday, February 29, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born to the late, Julian and Paulita Mijares Gomez on November 20, 1931 in Eola, Texas. Vera married Armando D. Fuentes in September of 1971. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Vera's passion in life, was her family, friends and her faith. She instilled that passion in her children and grandchildren, who will continue her legacy for generations to come. Vera prayed and kept her faith through her last breath. She enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, but especially Christian music. She was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. Vera was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Pauline Mendiola, Louisa Gonzales, Trini Gomez, Jose Gomez, Jessie Gomez, Julia Mata, Florence Montelongo, Sam Gomez, and Olivia Minjarez.

Survivors include her husband, Armando D. Fuentes; son, Noe Minjarez; daughter, Annabel Nelson and her husband, Chad; daughter, Odalia "Dolly" Minjarez; grandchildren, Armando Trevino, Jr., Stephen Trevino, Anthony Minjarez, Jennifer Minjarez, Justin Gomez, Lee Magana and Jaelyn Nelson; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Maggie Pena; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
